Our Nils am See was built with a well-founded concept of sustainability. In the immediate vicinity of the Neusiedler See - Seewinkel National Park, the aim was to build the boutique hotel in harmony with the natural surroundings. Great importance is attached to a fair ecological footprint.
The Nils am See is an energy self-sufficient business. On hot days, the green wooden facade serves as sun protection. The hotel has a heating pump system and a photovoltaic system.
In addition to this, digitalization has largely found its way into our establishment. Wherever possible and appropriate for our guests, we work without the use of paper. Also wherever possible, IPads are available to our guests. If anything is unclear, our on-site hotel staff will be happy to help you.
Sustainability is also reflected in our kitchen. If possible, all products are locally grown and organic. In addition to this, we work with an economically and ecologically sensible solution for disposing of food waste.
